Thank You Thursay

Trying to make simple yet elegant Thank You cards and ended up making 2 today.

So here is a card with a new technique that I learned from a colleague at Stampin' Up! Her website Stamp and scrap with Frenchie explains the process in details-Thank you Frenchie. So a simple clear embossing and sponging with color gives the card an entirely different look. I still have to get better at sponging. I added a little ribbon to avoid the shabby look from my messy sponging. Fortunately for me, it looks good =) I think this is why they say "You can never go wrong while crafting"

CS: Soft Suede, So Saffron, Very Vanilla
Ink: So Saffron, Versamark
Stamps: Curly Cute, My Friend

The ribbon, clear and gold embossing powder and pearls are NON-SU

This was the simplest of the two cards that I made today :D Simply used Embossing folder to emboss and put some rhinestones and voila...we have a Thank You Card.

CS: Basic Grey, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Stamp: Afterthoughts
Accessories: Frame Punch, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder

The rhinestones are Non-SU

If you are interested in purchasing any of the items used in making these card click on Stampin' Up! logo on the right or contact us.

Happy Krafting =)

  1. I really like both of these cards. When my ladies make booboos I tell them that it is an opportunity for embellishment, which is what you did, excellent job.
