Amazing, Incredible Mom

I have fallen in love with this whole thing of Creative Challenge.... Lately I have come across few craft websites/blogs that host these challenges......Today I am participating in a challenge on a blog called CAS(E) this Sketch ... love the sketches I have seen so far there and love how participants are to link their creations for a particular challenge to their blog....So many new blogs to visit (SUPER FUN!!!) :D

Inspite of working at Masters Golf Tournament all day and being tired, I could not resist the urge to go ahead and make something for their current challenge.

Here is the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch #23

Here is my creation using the sketch... A Mother's Day card:

A green pink card for Mom.... with "Amazing, Incredible one who does it all" stamped repeatedly to create the background. I used the same color as the cardstock to stamp "MOM" and finished my card with "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment :D

I love this card...love the diagonal sentiment.... the colors...perfect for Mom!!

Until next time,

Happy Krafting,

Cheers

Witty/Pun Card

This week has been super busy... It is Master's Golf Tournament =) Town is filled up with tonnes of people. It is spring break in schools-- I am off technically but I work in the Tournament for the week so its crazy busy week.

But I still managed to make a card for this month's ICRC 28 - this month is about making a card or project with Speech Bubble and some Witty/Pun sentiment :D As soon as I saw the challenge, I was excited. I could not wait to start making something.

I do have to mention...I was one of the toppers for the last Challenge -- One Layer Repeated Stamping :D Thank you ICR for choosing my card-- very motivating.

Anywaz, so here is my card with Speech bubble and Witty/Pun Sentiment:

This stamp set if from Stampin' Up! called Totally Tool. It is a very cute little set. Each stamp is a combination of some tool and witty sentiment to match the tool. I liked this particular sentiment, so I went with the saw

The whole sentiment was one huge sentence... which I broke into small phrases by using stamp ink pens to color the section I wanted to stamp, stamping the sentiment, then cleaning it off, and moving on to other section I wanted to stamp. I stamped the image and hand cut it and colored it in. The bubbles are part of the new polymer stamp set Stampin' Up! has come up with. Cute!!

I loved how it turned out... especially with the textured background, making the card masculine enough to send a guy some Thanks for fixing something ;)

This was super fun... hope you guys like the card as much as I do =) Will try if I can come up with another card for this challenge before this month ends.

This is all for now,

Until Next time,

Happy Krafting

Cheers,
