My friends recently bought a house--their first house.... Super excited for them..... Ever since they have been married (almost 1-1/2 years ago) they had been living separate since they lived in different cities. Once they decided they were going to move to Augusta, started the house hunting adventure. They finally found one... and moved in. As soon as that happened, I knew I was going to make them a card and create a goody basket :D
Ideas for new home cards are hard to find... Google Birthday cards or Thank You cards or Wedding cards and they pop up in large number. Try New home card and not many out there...But I found this awesome New Home card on you tube...video on how to make it.... The card is simply marvelous... It is sort of 3-D!!!
YES... It looks awesome doesnt it... although I have altered it a little bit from the original and used whatever I have (mostly punches or hand cut) as versus Cricuit used by the Carolyn from Logans Crafty Momma. She has a video on how to make this card which is nice and descriptive. So I will not even mess with explaining on how to make this card- Tutorial on House Card
Like I said...its mostly punches or hand cut... like the flowers, circles, the scallop for the tree, trim for the roof... all punches. Rest all hand cut. The mail box I actually found online, printed it, traced on a cardstock and hand cut. The cloud is a stamp I had which I stamped and cut out.
I think this is a versatile card...as much as it looks awesome as a New Home card... I am sure it will look pretty as a birthday card or wedding card.. Hmm.. something worth trying ;)
I loved how it turned out and the receivers did too =)
Until Next time,
Happy Krafting
Cheers
