Baby girl....

The store that helps me sell cards is going to go for a baby expo and asked me if I wanted to give her some cards or baby related items. Definitely an opportunity =) So I had to start creating some baby cards. While I have been looking for card ideas, I have also been looking at sketches on Splitcoaststampers (love em) and other places.

So here was the sketch I used (not sure where I got this from):

Here is my creation:

 So yeah I have some changes here and there...but the sketch made it a lot easier I decided to go with Shades of Pink and green =)

This is all for today

Until Next time,

Happy Krafting

Cheers =)

Valentines

Valentines is around the corner... I know we are still in January, but this month seems to be flying and in the blink of an eye it will be February and Valentines will be there...So I am adding on to my valentine collection for the store that helps me sell my cards =)

Here is creation from yesterday....

I will admit this layout is not my creation ;) I have been browsing card ideas on Pinterest and I remember seeing something like this.... I love the banner idea... so had to try it.

I really like how the card turned out ;)

Until Next time,

Happy Krafting,

Cheers =)

Anniversary Wishes

However creative one is...there are days you have this block which doesn't allow you to come up with ideas. Thank you Sketch Challenges ;) love the websites which have these challenges. Splicoaststampers is one such. Recently I found few sketches on Pinterest-some cute designs.

Today's card is from a Sketch Challenge on Spiltcoaststampers Wednesday's Card Sketch Challenge.

Above is the Sketch. Below is my creation.

Sketch Challenges make the work easy... you have a layout...all you have to think is what colors you want to use, do you want to add texture, designer paper... so the tough decision of the layout is out of the way....deciding the rest is pure fun ;)

Hope you like this simple card......

Until next time,

Happy Krafting

Cheers =)

Happy Birthday 2 U

Here is a simple card.... I saw a sketch somewhere (only if I could rem) the original design just had circles and the rectangle in the middle and sentiment stamped under it.. But I changed it up and stuck the sentiment in the middle :D

Birthday are cheery and colorful...so is this card ;) I had found the sentiment stamp long time ago in Michaels. Can't remember the brand...but its a set of each one a different whimsical style and is perfect for this card =)

Until Next Time,

Happy Krafting

Cheers =)

New Home 3-D card

My friends recently bought a house--their first house.... Super excited for them..... Ever since they have been married (almost 1-1/2 years ago) they had been living separate since they lived in different cities. Once they decided they were going to move to Augusta, started the house hunting adventure. They finally found one... and moved in. As soon as that happened, I knew I was going to make them a card and create a goody basket :D

Ideas for new home cards are hard to find... Google Birthday cards or Thank You cards or Wedding cards and they pop up in large number. Try New home card and not many out there...But I found this awesome New Home card on you tube...video on how to make it.... The card is simply marvelous... It is sort of 3-D!!!

YES... It looks awesome doesnt it... although I have altered it a little bit from the original and used whatever I have (mostly punches or hand cut) as versus Cricuit used by the Carolyn from Logans Crafty Momma. She has a video on how to make this card which is nice and descriptive. So I will not even mess with explaining on how to make this card- Tutorial on House Card

Like I said...its mostly punches or hand cut... like the flowers, circles, the scallop for the tree, trim for the roof... all punches. Rest all hand cut. The mail box I actually found online, printed it, traced on a cardstock and hand cut. The cloud is a stamp I had which I stamped and cut out.

I think this is a versatile card...as much as it looks awesome as a New Home card... I am sure it will look pretty as a birthday card or wedding card.. Hmm.. something worth trying ;)

I loved how it turned out and the receivers did too =)

Until Next time,

Happy Krafting

Cheers
