Today I have a simple, cute card...made for CAS(E) this Sketch challenge # 113. Here is the sketch:
Here is my version of this sketch:
This stamp is one of the first few ones that I bought when I started crafting 8 years ago. Then I used color pencils to color in... Now I use copic markers =)
After coloring in...I used some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen and Glossy Accents on the images. Some black enamel dots and banners complete the card!
I enjoyed playing with this challenge.... I made another card using this sketch ....with some minor design modifications.
Both cards for sale on Etsy
Happy Birthday
Shining Birthday
Until next time,

My winter break is coming to an end... it has been one good and busy break... I did not get chance to craft a lot this break... but I did manage to make few cards, a gift bag and tried a Brag Book today!!
I must say I have seen them before, never thought of making one. But while surfing Pinterest, found this box that took me to Papercraftbutton's blog. She is a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in UK and has some fabulous projects on her blog. Do check them out.
Elaine at Papercraftbutton made hers 3-1/4" x 3-1/4"- basically a square one...while mine is rectangular! It is pretty easy to make....just lot of cutting and some scoring and gluing!
For this project you need
Outer Cover:
8-7/16 width x 4-2/8"
Score at 3-2/8, 3-3/4, 7, 7-1/2"
Printed Paper for cover:
2 @ 4 x 3"
2 @ 4 x 3/8"
1 @ 4 x 3/4"
Pages:
3 pieces of card @ 12 x 4" (you could do 4 if you want)
Score them at 3", 6" and 9"
Printed Paper- 2-6/8 x 3-6/8" (I used 19 pieces)
You need to connect the 3 pieces together to make one long strip. I glued DSP on both sides which is why I needed 19pieces (So I can have 19 pictures in this book :D)
Belly band:
Cardstock 1" x 8-7/16"
Printed Paper- 3/4" x 8-2/8"
Stick together then score at 3-2/8, 3-7/8, 7-1/8, 7-6/8"
For the original 3" x 3" Book Click HERE -Elaine's post has the measurements for 3" x 3" book and also a link to the video where she shows how to make it (if you are like me who needs visual...her video explains well.)
I like the rectangular shape... although when I print pictures I will have to ensure they are the right size. So if you do not want to play around with cropping pictures, 3" x 3" book size is perfect.
I love how it turned out... will put an updated picture of it (with photos in it)
This is for today...
Until next time,
Happy Krafting =)
Today I made a card using Simon Says Card Kit September 2014 (Not available any more). It has a cute stamp set and some pretty papers going with the theme. You can still find the stamp - To Thine Own Shelf on their website. I really liked the sentiment "You are perfect in my books" from the set and thought it would make a cute valentine or anytime card :)
I love how the stamp set has these shelves and all the things that one would usually put on a shelf. I wanted to keep it simple and let the printed paper and the sentiment shine. So I just stamped 3 books and some cute hearts from Lawn Fawn's Love you Tons - cute dainty hearts ;) with a touch Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen
Since this card does not have embellishments...I popped up the sentiment card.
This is all for today....
Until next time,

Today I have a cute card for Mom :) Whether it's her birthday or Mother's day... this card will suit any occasion for mom.
We had secret santa at work and my secret santa gave me this awesome box filled with card making supplies. One of the items was a paper pack. As soon as I saw this pretty orange printed paper.... I thought of elegance....something for mom?? Hence this mom card.
The sentiments are gold embossed and the "Mom" circles are popped up. After putting the card together, I felt something was missing....so I added the yellow-orange rhinestones to go with the background paper color. A simple, yet elegant and pretty card
Products used:
Cardstock - Stampin' Up!
Printed Paper - DCWV The Glitter Basic Stack
Loved Ones - Stampin' Up! (Only available in digital form now)
Messages for Mom - Stampin' Up!(Only available in digital form now)
Rhinestones
This is all for today.
Until next time,
Happy Krafting
Last weekend my friends finally moved into their dream home :) They found the perfect place to raise their son (my godson) and build memories with him. Yesterday they had a small housewarming party so I made this card for them...
I wanted to keep it simple and wanted to use the sentiment from this stamp set I used. So I went with a white base with cut out house that lays flat on the cad base, while the heart frame is popped up. I love using copics when coloring images, but I am still in process of collecting them... I did not have gray shades, so I used watercolor pencils.
Products used:
Simon Says Stamp's Where the Heart Is
Stampin' Up! Hearts Collection Framelits Die
Versafine Black Ink and Clear Embossing powder
Red Rhinestones
Stampin' Up! Watercolor pencils (now retired)
Blender Pen
This is all for today.
Until next time,
Happy Krafting
